This involves interprofessional collaboration and ground breaking research across a number of health, sport and science-related areas that are not only relevant to New Zealand but to the world. Examples of this are addressing obesity, mental illness, physical activity, gambling, land and marine environment and other factors that have an immediate effect on every New Zealander.
We offer a range of research degrees
including a Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Health Science and Master of Philosophy – providing our students with a supportive, research rich environment with outstanding facilities, supervisors and academics.
AUT's Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences has five schools and houses various research institutes and centres, giving it a rich and diverse research profile.
