Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements
Must have completed one of the following with the equivalent of a B grade average or higher:

  • Four-year bachelor's degree OR
  • Bachelor's honours degree OR
  • Bachelor's degree and postgraduate diploma OR

Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience relevant to the proposed research.

Other requirements
May be required to complete an approved research methods paper

Structure and content

The MPhil is a one year research only degree. It provides an opportunity for interdisciplinary research of an applied or professional nature.

The degree allows a student to complete a one year research project and thesis, and may provide a pathway to doctoral studies.
