Modern organisations need expert writers and speakers to ensure excellent internal communication. Professional communication fills a need in New Zealand for specialised education in this growing field. It is interdisciplinary and will equip graduates with capabilities relative to persuasive written and oral communication, research within organisational contexts, the coaching and supervision of writing, and communication to diverse communities.
