Physical activity and nutrition at AUT University: an overview

AUT offers undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in physical activity and nutrition and has a dedicated research centre that focuses on all areas affecting obesity. As the developed world struggles with the effects of obesity in children and adults there is an increasing focus within our society on lifestyle choices, physical activity, nutrition and other factors that affect health in the community.

CPAN is a multi-disciplinary research team that focuses on investigating the health impacts of nutrition, physical activity and exercise, obesity, and other lifestyle-related diseases across the lifespan.
