Māori development at AUT University: an overview

Māori development at AUT’s faculty of Māori development, te ara poutama, covers political, economic and social areas of interest with a foundation in Te Reo and tikanga Māori. Māori development aims to combine a multidisciplinary study of business within culturally diverse communities, with particular emphasis on those that are Māori. It also includes an emphasis on research, management, business and technology within a Māori context.
