Health Informatics at AUT: an overview

The study of the use of information systems to improve healthcare. Health Informatics covers the safe collection, storage, communication and use of information to improve human health. Health Informatics at AUT is focussed on the more technical side of the field, although there is extensive collaboration with clinical partners.
