Health and physical education at AUT University: an overview

Health and physical activity is set to remain at the heart of New Zealand wellbeing, enabling young people to develop knowledge, confidence and skills in order to be connected, active members of society. The study of health and physical education at AUT focuses on the integration of hauora, health promotion and the socio-ecological aspects that underpin the philosophy of health and physical education in New Zealand schools.
