Creative Industries at AUT: an overview

  • Also referred to as communications - creative industries
The creative industries sector needs skilled people who can drive the projects that take creative ideas from the drawing board to the market place. The study of the creative industries at AUT covers:
  • Becoming a manager in the creative sector
  • Organising creative personnel and creative projects
  • Working with teams on the production of cultural goods and services
As a new academic area, creative industries is full of rich opportunities for research, and the teaching team encourages students to proceed to postgraduate study.
