Bachelor of Health Studies in Health Promotion
Effective health promotion is essential for our community. This degree provides graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in this growing area. You will study the individual and community function, the social, economic and cultural of health, and health promotion theories and models. Ethical and legal analysis is taught alongside practice expertise to produce academically rounded, practically focused health promotors, who are ready to respond to today's health challenges. The degree includes on-campus learning and an exciting range of elective work-experience placements. The Health Promotion degree can be completed as a double major with Psychology. University Undergraduate Degree Admission
Students over the age of 20:
- Applicants who are 20 years and over will need to provide evidence of their ability to undertake this degree with a reasonable likelihood of success
Other Programme Requirements:
- Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to have an overall 6.0 IELTS score overall and no band less than 5.5 (Academic module) or equivalent gained in the last 2 years
- All successful applicants will be asked to complete and return an addendum in order to the meet the Health Practitioner Competence Assurance Act 2003 which includes a Police Clearance

Graduate Certificate in Health Science
The Graduate Certificate in Health Science (60 point) full time equivalent qualification, with part-time options. Students select a range of papers with a health promotion focus in consultation with the programme leader. At least 45 points must be at level 7.
Graduate Diploma in Health Science
The Graduate Diploma in Health Science (120 point) full-time equivalent qualification, with part-time options. Students select a range of papers with a health promotion focus in consultation with the programme leader. At least 75 points must be at level 7.
