Senior Lecturer (Research Path)
Judith Symonds is a Research Path Senior Lecturer in Information Systems within the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences. Judith teaches e-Business and engages in funded research projects with small business industry. She also has an interest in RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology and how to integrate it with Information Systems in the healthcare sector.

RFID for Assisted Living (2006-2007) A joint project with Engineering to develop a single room environment of locatable objects.
Marketing Software in the Internet Economy (2006) A postgraduate student project with industry partnership reporting on models for marketing software products in the Internet Economy.
Building Integration Software Usability Project (2006) A postgraduate student project reporting on the usability of a user interface developed for the building industry.
