Promotes interdisciplinary research and collaboration between education, creative and commercial industries.
- Pacific Media Centre
Seeks to stimulate research into contemporary Māori, Pasifika and ethnic diversity media and culture production.
Continues to grow astronomy at AUT and for New Zealand.
Researches the development of intelligent information systems that enable knowledge engineering and knowledge discovery. Primary activities include fundamental research and applied research, with a focus on biomedical applications.
