Current Research Projects:

  • Submarine Development: We aim to reach new depths with a chemical-hydride-powered underwater glider.
  • Home Health Monitoring: We aim to use a device to record environmental conditions in the homes of expectant parents to assess the suitability of New Zealand residential housing to infants.
  • Contraction Monitoring during Labour using Doppler Ultrasound: We aim to allow greater mobility during labour and delivery through the monitoring of contractions with portable devices.
