Approaches to countering institutional racism and inequity in public health policy and funding

Current Research Projects:

The aim of the research is to bench-mark the experiences of different types of public health providers (Primary Healthcare Organisations, Public Health Units, Non-Governmental Organisations and Māori Health providers) in their dealings with Crown funders (District Health Boards and the Ministry of Health). This will inform a wider body of work focussed on strengthening Crown policy and funding practices to eliminate institutional racism (Came, Doole, Simpson, & Coupe, 2013)
