ON CAMPUS PROMOTION
The following guidelines/policy has been implemented to allow Freedom
of expression in a controlled manner to avoid controversy and promote
a safe and friendly environment for both staff and students on Campus.
This policy applies to anything distributed on campus. This includes
the following mediums:
• Newspapers and publications
• Flyers
• Posters
• Information packs
• Banners
Procedure for distribution
1. All distribution requests on Campus are made through Campus Life
no less than 5 working days before distribution.
2. The request for distribution must be in writing and include Key
Objective/Message, Target Market and a copy of the medium for distribution.

3. A space will then be allocated or identified for distribution
of that particular medium.
4. A distribution timeframe will be allocated for that medium of
which will be required to be removed by the party requesting distribution
at the end of the agreed period.
Distribution Policy
When distribution information on campus the following policy will
be enforced1. No one may enter buildings on Campus to distribute
information with out the approval of the University.
2. No one may enter on to Campus asking for donations for charities
from the students.
3. Nothing can be stuck on the walls with out permission.
4. All structures and signage that is erected and dismantled is
done so with consideration of the Health and Safety Regulations.
5. Distribution may only occur in the allocated location.
6. No mediums that are explicit, racial or offensive will be allowed
to be distributed on Campus.
7. Campus Life have the right to refuse distribution on any medium
that is harmful to the university or offensive to Students/Staff
at any stage during distribution.
