    AUT University recently played host to the Careers NZ Summit at their Manukau Campus. The theme of the Summit was “Improving economic growth through connecting education, business and industry”. Discussion focused on addressing the gap that exists, particularly for young people, between education, training and skills development, employment and the needs of employers in Auckland.

    AUT graduate Cameron Leslie is preparing to defend his Paralympic title at this year’s London Paralympics in the 150 metre individual medley.

    Leslie, who thrilled the AUT community in 2008 by winning gold in a world record time at the Beijing Paralympic Games, will be competing in the 150 metre individual medley, the 50 metre backstroke and 200 metre freestyle.
