Postgraduate study rooms info_new

Study spaces for postgraduate students
Postgraduate Study Rooms are provided in the Library buildings on the City and North Shore campuses. Both rooms are open 24/7 and access is by swipe card only. Currently enrolled postgraduate students may obtain a swipe card from the security office (City - WA203; North Shore - AT101). Facilities include a kitchen with fridge and microwave, comfortable seating and a telephone for internal calls. There are individual study spaces with power points, networked computers and a printer/photocopier (normal charges apply). Wireless Internet access is also available. These facilities are provided to be shared and users are expected to respect the needs of others. There is an online booking system for the computers to assist in the fair sharing of these resources.

The Postgraduate Study Rooms are not intended for group study so, if you need to work with other students on a group project, you should book one of the Library Group Study Rooms.

The Postgraduate Study Room at City Campus
This is on Level 5 of WA Building. Access is via the stairs or lift from levels 2 or 4 of WA building, external to the Library. Please note that outside normal office hours a swipe card is required to operate the building entrances, the lift and stairwell doors as well as the entrance to the Study Room.

The Postgraduate Study Room at North Shore Campus Library
This room is on Level 2 of the North Shore Campus Library and is accessed from an entrance to the right of the Library entrance - see the map for details. It is available 24/7.
