Published by: Oxford University Press
Description: For the first time many of the important scholarly books published by Oxford University Press in the humanities and social sciences are available online in Oxford Scholarship Online. The Economics and Finance collection includes an extensive list of publications in Economics ranging from some of the classic thinkers to a number of modern masters – twentieth century winners of the Nobel Prize for Economics and, especially in our Clarendon series, many of those whose thinking is currently driving the subject forward. Our authors are spread across the world and come from America, Europe and Asia. The list is strong in Development Economics and Public Economics and in books on the boundary between Economics and Philosophy, especially where notions of welfare and equality are concerned. It has a distinct policy orientation. Econometrics has recently become a strength, a new departure has been the establishment of a striking list of books in Finance and we are entering the field of Behavioral Economics.
