GETTING STARTED LIBRARY WORKSHOPS

There are two introductory workshops offered by the library between 27 February and 22 March. They will be run at all three campuses.
The Catalogue workshop provides you with basic information about Library resources. Topics include website overview, tips to find books, and specific features of the Library Catalogue (e.g. how to access your personal record to renew books).
The Databases workshop introduces you to some of the many electronic resources used when locating information for your assignments; Summon, how to select databases, tips for searching databases, how to find an article from a citation.
