Electronic Displays Protocol

1 Introduction

1.1 This protocol is about electronic displays within the Library.

1.2 Electronic material from the same source is displayed on electronic screens, in campus libraries, and should be consistent with the Library Style Convention. Where appropriate, the AUT logo is to be used.

1.3 The Library Communications & Marketing Co-ordinator is responsible for managing electronic displays, including seeking approval from Senior Management.

2 Context

2.1 Material displayed should:

a) relate to AUT courses/research, functions or an event or activity of significance;
b) not contravene the law, or breach copyright; and
c) be suitable for display in a public area.

3 Electronic Displays

3.1 A range of permanent and seasonal content may be displayed. This includes:

a) kia ora/ greeting messages;
b) promotion of new or existing Library services;
c) University Library Regulations;
d) approved videos, or links to significant events or activities.
