The City Campus Library provides integrated services for teaching, learning and research in a single facility.
It includes:
- Seating for individual study
- An Information Literacy teaching laboratory
- DVD/Video viewing and audio listening facilities
- Print and digital information resources to support learning, teaching and research needs
- Library Help Desk for help with finding information and using tools such as the library catalogue and online databases
- An Open Access High Demand Collection for required readings and audio-visual collection

A Postgraduate Study Room with PCs, study desks and kitchen facilities
Postgraduate Study Room is provided in the Library building on the City Campus, on Level 5. Click here for a map showing the location of the room. The room is open 24/7 and access is by swipe card only. Click here for instructions on obtaining a swipe card for access to these rooms. Facilities include a kitchen with fridge and microwave, comfortable seating and a telephone for internal calls. There are individual study spaces with power points, networked computers and a printer (normal printing charges apply). Wireless Internet access is also available. These facilities are provided to be shared and users are expected to respect the needs of others. There is an online booking system for the computers to assist in the fair sharing of these resources.
The Postgraduate Study Rooms are not intended for group study so, if you need to work with other students on a group project, you should book one of the Library Group Study Rooms.

- An Open Access Computer Laboratory with PCs and networked printers
- IT Help Desk for assistance with computer hardware and software, and for managing internet accounts
- Wireless laptops for loan
- Te Tari Awhina, Learning Development Centre, for self-directed learning with particular emphasis on ESOL students
- Self-service photocopiers and Printsprint branch for colour copying, printing and binding
