Description: A free database of up-to-date New Zealand Acts, Statutory Regulations and Bills. The database is provided by the New Zealand Parliamentary Counsel Office/Te Tari Tohutohu Pāremata (PCO), which is responsible for drafting and publishing most of New Zealand's legislation. Legislation can be found by browsing or searching, and can be printed or downloaded from the site.
Coverage: Acts and Statutory Regulations currently in force, or repealed/revoked after 4 September 2007, and Bills currently before Parliament. Does not include certain types of "deemed" regulations including rules, codes, and other legislative instruments that are not published in the Statutory Regulations series.

Description: The 19th Century British Library Newspapers collection contains full runs of 48 newspapers specially selected by the British Library to best represent nineteenth century Britain. This new collection includes national and regional newspapers, as well as those from both established country or university towns and the new industrial powerhouses of the manufacturing Midlands, as well as Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Special attention was paid to include newspapers that helped lead particular political or social movements such as Reform, Chartism, and Home Rule. The penny papers aimed at the working and clerical classes are also present in the collection.

Niupepa: Maori Newspapers local_info info_new

Description: The niupepa collection consists of over 17,000 pages taken from 34 separate periodicals. It is based on "Niupepa 1842-1933", a microfiche collection produced by the Alexander Turnbull Library. 70% of the collection is written solely in Māori, 27% is bilingual and about 3% is written in English. There were three main types of niupepa published; government sponsored, Māori initiated, and religious.
