INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING YOUR CRP SUBMISSION FOR SPRINGER LNCS VOLUMES

In the following, please find instructions for submitting the files needed for the ICONIP08 post-conference Springer LNCS volumes. The submission has four components, as described below. Please collect all necessary files, give filenames as indicated, and put them together into a single archive file (either ZIP archive file with extension .zip, or GNUZIPed TAR file with extension .tar.gz). Then, upload the files on the indicated webserver. Do not send the archive file, or the CRP alone by email.

CHECKLIST BEFORE SUBMITTING
(in the following, XXX refers to your three-digit paperid, incl. leading 0s if necessary, e.g. 010, 005, 271)

1. PDF file of your submission

• strictly following LNCS guidelines for authors, see link above
• no page numbers and running headers
• no keywords
• maximum 8 pages (extra page charges apply). Please name this file crpXXX.pdf.

2. SOURCE files

• all LaTeX source files needed to typeset the manuscript, including figures as separate documents, stylefiles, bib files etc., all compressed into a single archive file (with extension .zip, or .tar.gz) and named sourceXXX.zip (or sourceXXX.tar.gz)
• if possible, use direct latex to pdf conversion (without intermediate dvi,ps)
• word or rtf source files are also possible submission formats, please use as name here sourceXXX.doc (or sourceXXX.rtf)

3. TEXT file with author information

• provide an additional text file (ASCII characters only) with the names of all authors, one per line, and in the style

last name, first (given) names

Use LaTeX notation, if there are special characters in your name. This will help the correct indexing of your name in the author index of the book, as well as for all on-line indizes listing your paper. Example: K\"oppen, Mario

• name the file authorsXXX.txt

4. COPYRIGHT FORM

• please download the copyright form directly from Springer LNCS webpage (see link above)
  
• print it and fill in, one author can sign on behalf of all authors (use "ICONIP08 Proceedings" and 'N.Kasabov et al." for volume
  title and editors)"
  
• scan the form as image file or pdf, and name it cfXXX.ext (.tif,.jpg etc.)

In summary, your archive file should contain the following four parts:

• crpXXX.pdf
  
• sourceXXX.zip (or sourceXXX.tar.gz, sourceXXX.doc, sourceXXX.rtf)
  
• authorsXXX.txt
  
• cfXXX.jpg (or .pdf,.tif,.tiff etc.)

The maximum file size for uploading is 10MB. If your file is larger, or if you face any other problem, please contact ICONIP08 organizers via iconip08org@softcomputing.org
