Master of Global Business
Bachelor of Business in Economics and Management
The Master of Global Business is a great choice if you want a career in international operations, says Shayne Pal who graduated from AUT last year.
“I would highly recommend the Master of Global Business if you enjoy learning about international trade and business. If you want to become a professional who plays an important role in a company’s international operations, then this is the programme for you.
“I always knew I wanted to study further after I completed my Bachelor of Business. I find international business very interesting, so when AUT introduced this programme I knew I had to get enrolled. I’m glad I did – it was worth it.”
AUT is well recognised the quality of its education, and the Master of Global Business was no exception, says Shayne.
“I would highly recommend the programme. The mentoring you receive from the academic staff is highly commendable. The lecturers are always available to assist and ensure that you are on track with your studies.”
The interactive learning environment is one of AUT’s strengths, she adds.
“Throughout my studies at AUT, I’ve enjoyed the group sessions and group activities. I find learning from your peers is a great way to acquire knowledge, and I’ve always looked forward to the interactive classes.”
Independent learning offers rewards
The research project was the favourite part of her studies, the AUT alumna says.
“My favourite paper was the research project, a great opportunity to go out there and research a topic of my interest. I really enjoyed the independent learning, and gained a lot of new knowledge from my research project.”
Her research also had some challenges, she admits.
“My biggest challenge was finding reputable and credible sources for my reports and research project. All the resources are readily available but selecting the best resources could be challenging at time. However, I never struggled for long because the AUT Library offers so much help with this.”
