AUT has quickly made its mark as New Zealand’s new university – reflected in growth, student completion rates and graduate employment success.
Our goals for the future remain as ambitious as those formed at the start. The university will maintain the tradition of meeting the changing demands of both established and evolving businesses. Delivering dynamic undergraduate experiences is the critical pathway to achieving a better future for AUT University and our wider New Zealand economy. We are also committed to being accessible and affordable to our students.
Scholarships act as an incentive for students to strive for and achieve excellence in their studies. They also provide support for students who can’t take up a university place – AUT University recognizes that worthy students who are financially or educationally disadvantaged should not be faced with barriers to study.
AUT University’s continued improvement and success in the new era of performance-based funding will come from attracting outstanding new students and working with them to become high-quality graduates.
We would like your help in creating opportunities which encourage the best and brightest, regardless of circumstances to achieve their full potential.
AUT is looking to expand its scholarship programme with credible scholarships for new students who qualify on grounds of excellence and/or need. We will carry on our tradition of education in areas of design, creativity, technology, business, health and many of the core disciplines that underpin our local and national economy. We will also continue to innovate and evolve into new areas of higher education that meet the needs of new industries and businesses looking for highly skilled graduates.
With the help of the wider AUT community – who already understand the value of education and qualifications from AUT University – and its predecessors, we will offer a greater number of scholarships to more worthy recipients. Together we can share in the success and benefits of a new generation.
