Rainbow (LGBTI) students: services and resources

At AUT, our gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual and intersex (LGBTI) communities are known as the rainbow community. We offer services and resources for students who identify with diverse sexual orientations, sex and gender identities. We're also involved in many rainbow events Auckland-wide. We were out and proud at LYC Big Gay Out 2016, and had an incredible float at the Auckland Pride Parade. Check out the festivities in the videos below.

We have a space on the City Campus where you can catch up with other students, have some quiet time, study or have your lunch.

In 2017, all AUT campuses will have all gender bathrooms. We'll keep you updated here on the locations of these bathrooms.

Pride 2017

We'll be at Big Gay Out on February 12 and will have a procession in the Pride Parade on 25 February. Join us in celebrating the AUT and Auckland rainbow / LGBTI community at these events.
