AUT has medical centres for current students and staff, providing a full range of medical services by doctors and nurses.
Our services include:
Routine consultations are free if you are a domestic student and you enrol with us as your doctor. You can phone us or drop in to make an appointment.
If you need medical care or advice after hours, you can go to an accident and urgent medical care provider, like White Cross. Check the Healthpoint website to find one near you.
In an emergency, phone an ambulance on 111.

AUT has an oral health clinic at AUT Health Building, NorthMed, 3 Akoranga Drive, Northcote.
We have policies around privacy, repeat prescriptions, lab results and complaints.
Most people will need to see a doctor for a repeat prescription, but if you have a stable condition and are on regular medication, we may be able to give you a repeat without a medical consultation. See our receptionist for help.
Your doctor or nurse will talk to you about how you will get your lab results. A nurse will text or phone you if they need to talk to you about your results.
You can contact us for your results or if you have any questions. You may be able to get your results by phone. For some results we may ask you to come in to see us.
We value the confidentiality of your health information. We act in accordance with medical and nursing ethics of confidentiality, and the provisions of the Privacy Act 1993 and the Health Information Privacy Code 1994.
