- AUT Student Centre
AUT's Student Centre provides information on applications and admission, fees and invoices, academic records, general enrolment, graduation, accommodation, orientation and student services.
They also provide course counselling if you need help deciding which is the best course for you. Contact the AUT Student Centre by visiting in person or phoning the helpline on 0800 AUT UNI (0800 288 864) from 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday

News and developments, the AUT Alumni Network, which you are automatically part of when you graduate.
- Arion
Student database that lets you enrol online for any AUT course, make fee payments, update your personal details or view your academic results.
- Athlete Student Advisor
Support to athletes who are working towards a competitive sporting career while balancing an academic education.
- AuSM - the students' association
Services include free feeds, student bar, discount directory, Debate magazine, advocacy service, events and much more.
- AUT Chinese Centre
Provides pastoral and academic assistance to Chinese students.

- Childcare centres
There are two childcare centres at AUT – AUT Early Childhood Centre at the City Campus and Akoranga Childcare Centre, an independently run créche at the North Shore Campus. Both centres provide excellent childcare facilities and services, including school holiday programmes.

- Student Learning Centre
Advice and help on any aspect of your academic work, including: reading; essays; taking notes; giving oral presentations; writing assignments and interpreting feedback.

Facilities
ATMs (money machines)
ATMs (ANZ bank) are located on the ground floor of WB building on the City Campus, and outside the AS building (left of the entrance to the main café) on the North Shore Campus. You can also withdraw cash through EFTPOS at any AuSM office. The closest ATMs to Manukau Campus are located within the Westfield shopping centre, corner Great South Road and Wiri Station Road (ANZ, ASB, Kiwibank, National Bank) and the Bank of New Zealand Manukau Banking Centre which is located at 639 Great South Road, Manukau.

You can also visit our showroom which is located on the City Campus, WC building, level 2, next to Hub Cafe.
Bookshops
AUT has a UBS bookshop in the WC building on the City Campus and the AB building on the North Shore Campus for all your textbook and course requirements. All AUT students and staff are entitled to a 10% discount off the genuine recommended retail price of most books and most stationery at all UBS stores.

Breastfeeding
AUT wants to support mothers who are breastfeeding while studying or working at AUT. There are two breastfeeding rooms on campus - WT106 on the City Campus and AE102F on the North Shore campus.

Security help phones are located at various points around each AUT campus. Press the button once and you will be connected to the AUT Security office. Public calls cannot be made using these phones - they are for emergencies only.

Fitness centres
As an AUT student, you can take advantage of the AUT Sport & Fitness Centre on the North Shore Campus and the City Fitness Centre on the City Campus. Membership can be as little at $1 a day with no joining fees and no strings attached.

Marae
AUT Nga Wai o Horotiu Marae serves as a Whānau, cultural and spiritual centre. Nga Wai o Horotiu Marae is one of the ways in which AUT actively acknowledges the importance of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and expresses our deeply held belief that AUT is a centre of learning not only for all peoples, but also a particular place where Māori have a special and distinct role. AUT Nga Wai o Horotiu Marae is a place where you can stand proud.

Medical centres
AUT University has two accredited health and wellbeing centres at our City and North Shore campuses. You can make an appointment by phone or by dropping into a centre.

Multifaith rooms
Multifaith rooms are for students and staff of all faith groups to use for prayer, meditation, reflection or faith-based workshops. The City Campus room is WZ106C and the North Shore room is AP102. The rooms can be booked for regular times, or can be used for drop-in during non-booked times.

Muslim prayer rooms
A Muslim prayer room is available on the City Campus (room at rear of WW building) and North Shore Campus (AP112A) for AUT Muslim students and staff. The rooms have separate spaces for men and women, and washroom facilities.

All payphones accept Telecom phone cards and credit cards, and some also accept coins. Phone cards can be purchased from any AuSM office or UBS bookshop.
