Pre-arrival Checklist
We have put together a list of essential tasks to complete prior to beginning your studies at AUT. Once you can confidently say yes to each point, you will be ready for a successful start.
While you can use this website to find information on all these tasks, we strongly recommend you attend Orientation (if you can) so you will be fully prepared.

- To access Arion, you’ll need to use your login name and password
- I have accepted my offer of place
- I have paid my fees
- I have checked my details and enrolled in my classes on Arion
- I feel confident that I have chosen the right programme of study
- I have organised my accommodation
- I am aware of what transport I can use to get to AUT

- I have seen and understand my timetable in Arion
- I know how to use the catalogue, databases and loan books at the AUT Library
- I know how to find my classes, the Library and support services on campus
- I am aware of the academic workshops that I can complete
