Student Accomodation - student in room

Living on campus at AUT is a great option, particularly if you're in your first year or from out of town. AUT student accommodation is convenient, modern and supportive - just minutes from the AUT City or North Campus.

Advantages of living on campus

  • Cost includes all furniture, power, water and internet – just bring your personal belongings
  • Easy to meet other students – most of the residents are first-year students, so it's a great way of getting used to living away from home
  • Higher academic success rates for students in AUT accommodation because they’re part of a supportive community connected to support services and advice
  • Great campus resources nearby, including library, computer labs, student advisors, health centre and recreational facilities
  • Regular social and sporting events organised by our Residential Life team
  • Access to free counselling (through Health, Counselling and Wellbeing) if you need it

You can live in AUT accommodation if you're:
