Student Mentors are experienced students who have been studying at AUT for at least two semesters. They volunteer their time to help new students settle in during their first semester at AUT University. Mentors are trained to give advice based on their experiences as senior students, provide information about how the University’s systems work and refer new students to relevant and useful resources and support services within AUT.
Student Mentors are not peer tutors or counsellors but they provide direction to appropriate assistance on campus as and where necessary.
