We have put together a list of essential tasks to complete prior to beginning your studies at AUT. Once you can confidently say yes to each point, you will be ready for a successful start.

While you can use this website to find information on all these tasks, we strongly recommend you attend International Orientation so you will be fully prepared.

To learn more about the following topics, click on the links to go to each area of the website. To access Arion, you’ll need to use your login name and password.

Undergraduate students


While you’ll learn more about the following topics at Orientation, you can familiarise yourself with them now.

  • I know how to login to UniCentral and access AUTonline, webmail and Arion (Logging in).
  • I have seen and understand my timetable in Arion (Arion).
  • I know how to use the catalogue, databases and loan books at the AUT Library (AUT Library).
  • I know how to find my classes, the Library and support services on campus (Getting to and around campus).
