Allergy New Zealand is a not-for-profit organisation that works within the community to improve the quality of life for people with allergies, and their families. They offer support, education and information, and also act as an advocate in all aspects of allergy.
- Auckland City Mission
Auckland City Mission offers hope to individuals and families who may be experiencing a temporary setback or a long-term problem that needs expert attention.
- Auckland Refugees as Survivors New Zealand
Refugees and people with related backgrounds will have access to quality, culturally-responsive mental and general health services to assist positive resettlement in New Zealand.
- Auckland Sexual Abuse
A community counselling agency in Mt Eden offering support and therapy for women, young adult women and children who have experienced sexual assault.
- Auckland Sexual Health Service
Auckland Sexual Health Service specialises in everything to do with sex. Their service is free, confidential, sensitive and holistic.

Provides affordable, quality, welfare and support services, personal development and educational opportunities, resources for the women’s community and collective advocacy on women’s issues.

Barnardos is a not-for-profit organisation that works within the community to provide a range of care, education and support services for children and their families.

Bethany is a safe haven for young pregnant women and their babies. A comfortable, confidential home-from-home, where you’ll receive all the care, support and mother-craft assistance you need, before and after the baby is born.

The CAB provides a free, impartial and confidential service of information, assistance and referral to people in our communities.
- The DARE Foundation
Skills for Life are New Zealand designed programmes which seek to challenge children, parents and their communities to DARE - to develop skills in decision-making, assertiveness, responsibility and esteem to enable them to make informed and supported choices for a powerful life.
- LifeLine
LifeLine's 24 hour telephone counselling is a process of exploring caring ways to resolve your situation in an anonymous, compassionate and supportive environment. LifeLine also has a Chinese LifeLine telephone service for Mandarin and Cantonese speakers.
- Man Alive
Man Alive is a secular, non-political organisation offering a broad range of counselling services and programmes. Their goal is to support men and boys of all ages to gain understanding and strength in their relationships with partners, children, family and friends.
- Mensline
A confidential telephone counselling service for men, by men.
- New Zealand Aids Foundation
Provides referral and information services concerning HIV/AIDS. They offer a Community Education Programme, HIV testing, sexual health information and HIV Positive care.
- The Phobic Trust
It’s the Phobic Trust’s goal to stimulate awareness and education of anxiety, phobic and compulsive disorders, alleviate the suffering of those involved, and provide input into the research of the cause and management of these disorders.
- Pregnancy Help INC
Offers free pregnancy testing and counselling plus emotional and practical support during pregnancy.

Rape Prevention Education offers support to male and female survivors of rape and sexual abuse. They offer a phone service offering crisis intervention, support and a referral service to callers.

- Youthline
Youthline provides a range of services including phone counselling, face to face counselling, youth focused interactive seminars and youth development programmes.

Alcohol/Drug services
- Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
- Community Alcohol and Drugs Services (CADS)
Offers a free service, funded through the Waitemata District Health Board, to anybody in the Auckland region wanting to solve an alcohol or drug related question, issue or problem.
- Narcotics Anonymous
Narcotics Anonymous is a nonprofit, international, community-based organisation for recovering addicts active in over sixty countries. Narcotics Anonymous (NA) members learn from one another how to live drug-free and recover from the effects of addiction in their lives.

- Asian Health Support Service
The Asian Health Support Service helps members of the Asian population living in the Waitemata District to access culturally appropriate health services.
- Chinese New Settlers Services Trust
Chinese New Settlers Services Trust (CNSST) consists of 5 community-based multi-service centres, providing social, cultural and educational services. Their mission is to improve the quality of life of Chinese New Zealanders.
- Shakti Community Council
The Shakti Community Council assists migrant and refugee families integrate within the New Zealand mainstream harmoniously, taking into context the importance of acknowledging and operating in a multi-lingual and culturally appropriate environment.
