Printing and copying

Here you’ll find details of how to create, print and copy different types of documents at AUT.

Printing Microsoft Word Documents

  1. Click the Office button in the top left corner.
  2. Select the Print option [Ctrl-P].
  3. Select the printer which matches the room or lab number, e.g. WO15. Note: for black and white printouts, select BW. For color printouts, select the color option.
  4. Click on OK.

Creating PDF Documents

  1. Click the Office button in the top left corner.
  2. Click Save As
  3. Select pdf in format tab
  4. Save the file in the 'H' drive or your USB

Copying

Photocopiers are located at various locations in the library. Most of them require for you swipe your ID card.

Alternatively Printsprint digital print centres provide a range of digital print and document finishing services including colour or black and white digital printing and copying from A4 to large format posters, offset print management services, book publication, thesis binding, document creation, DVD duplication and an extensive range of document finishing and binding services.

Printsprint customer service centres are located in the WA building on the City Campus and the AM building on the North Shore Campus. Printsprint also provides self-help print and copy equipment in the Library and computer labs.
