IT Service Desk

If you have any questions about the AUT computer network, email and internet usage, or any other IT related problem, the IT Service Desk can help.

Please visit Tech Central between hours of 7.00am to 10.00pm, Monday - Friday and 9.00am to 6pm, weekend. These hours will vary from campus to campus.

How to Get Support

Online Request:
Submit your issue online by logging in to IT help with your user name and password. Instructions on how to use IT help are available here . Your request will go directly into our service queue and be responded to on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If you are a distance student outside Auckland you can use our freephone number.  (This number will not work from mobile phones).

Walk-In Support:
IT Service Desk staff are available for support at "Tech Central" on all 3 campuses

If you have any problems using the computers, IT Service Desk staff offer free introductory computer workshops, or they can sit down one-to-one with you for a short time to go over anything you need help with. Just give them a call and ask.
