Code of practice for supervisors

The principal responsibility of research supervisors is to be accessible advisors who encourage and assist students to develop standards of achievement which will result in a thesis/dissertation of an acceptable standard.

Supervisors who are new to AUT are required to attend a seminar facilitated by the Centre for Learning and Teaching. There they will be introduced to AUT processes for supervising and administering research students.
