University Postgraduate Symposium
Date Friday 2 September 2011Time 9am - 4.30pm
The Postgraduate Symposium is a forum where postgraduate researchers discuss and present their ongoing research with postgraduate staff and students from various areas of the University.
The programme includes
- Plenary guest speaker Dr Kevin Pryor, CEO - AUT Enterprises Ltd (AUTEL)
- A variety of presentations given by postgraduate research students
- 3 Minute thesis (3MT) competition (Doctoral and Master of Philosophy students provide a compelling presentation about their research within a three minute limit time and the use of one PowerPoint slide)
- Vouchers sponsored by AUT Printsprint to the value of $800
- 1 year AUT Sport and Fitness Centre dual membership valued at $315
- An HP notebook, sponsored by Cyclone computers
