Kyle Macfadyen
Disability Student Advisor - City Campus

Kyle is an initial contact for all existing and new students with impairments, and all Deaf students who require NZSL interpreter support. Following an assessment, he will work closely with students to identify the best type of support that may be available. Kyle also advises students, academic and allied staff on disability issues. He provides information, guidance and a broad range of ongoing support to students.

Anna Nelson
Disability Student Advisor - City Campus
Anna is an initial contact for all existing and new students with impairments. She provides information, guidance and a broad range of ongoing support to students, including  access to information on internal/external scholarships for students with impairment. Following an assessment, Anna will work closely with students to identify the best type of support that may be available. Anna also advises students, academic and allied staff on disability issues.

Disability Student Advisor - North Shore Campus
Lea is an initial contact for all existing and new students with impairments based at the North Shore Campus. She provides information, guidance and a broad range of ongoing support to students. John Lambert
Adaptive Technology and Alternative Format Coordinator

John supports vision impaired students to access study materials in alternative formats. John also provides information and guidance on using assistive technologies to maintain students as independent learners. John can provide training to individual students on software or technologies that are specific to their needs. John is responsible for the Adaptive Technology labs that are based in the city and North Shore campus libraries.

Brenda Kiernan
Coordinator - Disability Resource Staff
Brenda recruits and manages the team who provide academic supports to students. She works closely with the Disability Student Advisors to ensure students get the appropriate in-class support, e.g. note-takers. Brenda also has responsibility for liaising with students and faculties to ensure that alternative examination arrangements for students with impairment are in place.
