Studying at university can be a big step up from school, the workplace, raising a family or travelling. Whether you’re studying full time or part time, you will no doubt have other obligations including your family, church, work and cultural commitments.

There are many people at AUT who can offer support throughout your studies.

Pasifika Student Advisors

Pasifika Student Advisors are the friendly people who you can talk to about anything - whether it is social, familial, financial or academic. If we can’t help you, then we will find the right people who can. Everything we talk about will be completely confidential.

Even if your studies are going well, we’d still like to connect with you! Make an appointment or drop-in to see one of our Pasifika Student Advisors.

Adjusting to university can be lonely and difficult. At times like this, it can help to have a friendly face in the crowd. We have a student-peer support network led by our Pasifika Student Leaders. They can help you adjust to the AUT way of life and make that transition smoother. For more information about Pasifika Student Leaders, contact us.
