AUT Edge Award

The AUT Edge Award challenges and rewards your journey at AUT by formally acknowledging your involvement in volunteering, leadership and employability activities. The AUT Edge Award is open to any enrolled AUT student. When completed, it will be acknowledged on your academic transcript.

As well as good academic grades, employers also look for graduates with the ‘C’ skills: collaboration, co-operation, community, curiosity, communication and creativity. The AUT Edge Award helps you develop these skills.

It's so simple...

You may be surprised at how much you are already doing that meets the requirements of the AUT Edge Award. For example, organising a training session for your sports team, volunteering for a few hours at your local animal refuge, attending a CV workshop, taking part in a drama or dance production, doing an overseas exchange… it all counts.
