AUT Health, Counselling and Wellbeing
AUT Health Counselling and Wellbeing Centres offer free help for staff and students wanting to quit smoking.  You can meet with a nurse to discuss strategies for quitting, and get a prescription for nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), which gives you a 50 percent better chance of quitting.

AUT Smoke-free Ambassadors and Smoke-free Champions
A group of AUT staff and students have volunteered to act as smoke-free ambassadors (for students) and smoke-free champions(for staff).

They have been trained by the Quit Group to provide advice and support to AUT staff and students who are thinking of quitting.  If you would like to contact a smoke-free ambassador or smoke-free champion, email Stella McFarlane at AUT Health, Counselling and Wellbeing:  smcfarla@aut.ac.nz
