Getting to AUT by Ferry
If you live near a harbour, catching a ferry to downtown Auckland is nicer than sitting in rush-hour traffic.
Ferries service the following destinations from the Downtown Ferry Terminal: Devonport, Bayswater, Birkenhead, Northcote Point, Stanley Bay, Pine Harbour, Half Moon Bay, West Harbour, Gulf Harbour and Waiheke.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the Downtown Ferry Terminal to the City Campus. Buses also run from Britomart to very near AUT.
